The Federation City Bonn can look back on 2000 years of history. Bonn is not only the former capital city and native city of Ludwig van Beethoven, but has also one of the most distinguished universities of Germany. 

An absolute must is a visit of the most famous "Museumsmeile". The Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Art Museum Bonn crown this impressive museum-landscape, which you should not miss to see! 

Who would rather get to know this city during the night, has to visit the numerous clubs, bars and restaurants of this city. And someone who loves romance, should visit Bonn during the pre-Christmas period, for then Bonn awakes to a picturesque old town.
